Happenings
I've finally gotten a new cell phone! Bye-bye old school Nokia! Now I have a sleek Motorola flip phone. Definately less bulky.
My audition at Luther went really well! I really liked the woman who listened to me and she gave me a lot of positive feedback. About less than a week later, I got a call from Weston Nobel, the scholarship founder, saying that I'm being considered for the top amount of $$. Needless to say, I was very excited to hear that.
Last night I wrote my "rejection" letter to Concordia saying it wasn't one of my top choices and would not be going to compete for scholarships. I felt like I had led the school on and felt bad for that, but then i thought about it and realized there are probably a lot of people who do the same thing. I didn't feel as bad anymore. I thought I should give somebody else an opportunity to win money for the music scholarship. Somebody else may really want to go there and they would actually use the money, unlike me.

no i didn't! you just can't read
You do prettymuch rock.
:) Thanks!
You're awfully nice to let them down gently. I just assume these colleges/admissions counsellors aren't going to take it too personally if I just never acknowledge their existence...
You're Jason Houle. You can do to college admissions officials whatever you damn well please!!
Yeah well I think Maggie could too but she's probably just a more considerate person than I, at least as far as feelings of admissions cousellors go...
I would only write a rejection letter if I don't like the college. So if I don't go to luther you can geuss who's gonna be getting one :P
Geez Josiah, let up with the Luther burns. Shit's old.
BTW, GREAT WORK AT SOLO AND ENSEMBLE!! You should post about the weekend at S & E and Chicago.
Y'know?
